where to get a new chevy 350....

Well I'm ready to put a fresh new motor in my old '88 chevy pickup... I was wondering where would be a good place to buy the motor, and also where to have it swapped in... and how much should i expect to spend on the whole ordeal (motor + installation)

where is that? also, do they install or just sell the motors?

a quick search on google found their website http://www.sdpc2000.com/ ( that will make a good bookmark ). A few years ago dad bought a 305 replacement engine from a local dealer for around $1300 new. He could not remember what the name was of the place he found his at. He remembers that most were $1500 - $1600, but one was a bit cheaper. You may call around some local dealers to see what local prices are like as well.
