Where to take my yota for trial run in Ogden Area?

I am hoping to have my crawler finished up by this weekend and really want to take it out for some testing. The problem is I really don't want to go very far in case I run into any major problems and end up driving all day for nothing. So where is a place close to Ogden where I can go play? Nothing real technical, but enough that I can push it a little bit. I thought about Farmington Canyon but are there any trails up there or just the dirt road? Thanks for any suggestons

not much up farmington about 3 larger obstacles (read rock bigger than a skipping stone) that my stock 4skin could go running. The bountiful side has old ward canyon IIRC that looked like it had some large rocks but not many of them from how far I got in
