Who has an 02ish wr250?

I just bought one and the clutch cable seems to be a bit too long.

The handle bar adjustment is out as far as it can go and so is the opposite end.

The part number on the cable is 5jg3500-1b16



can anyone compare to their cable?



The problem is when the bike is in gear and the clutch is pulled, there is still a drag like its in gear.


or what else would be causing the clutch to not fully "disengauge"?

Just bring it over and we'll pull the clutch cover and have a look.

pulled the clutch cable off the handle and pulled the cable as far as i could. still dragged. looks like this might be the fix.
