That one wasn't in the first link you gave. A 4" grinder wih a cutting wheel is much cheaper than a mill, and just as fast. But not as pretty.

Oops!

I got mine about half way done. I used a sawzall and will finsh with a grinder.
That mill makes it look's like it's so much better.

Yup. If I was going to mill it, It would mill the crap out of it, and shave the ring gear.

Finish it up with a flap wheel if it worries you that much...........
