I have a 37x12.50x15 MTR on a chrome mod wheel which is 15x10x5.5. The tire has a plug in the sidewall about an inch from the tread level - Its been plugged, and I've been dragging it around as a spare for 4-5 years - never lost any air. Tread is probably 60-70%

let me know if its something you are interested in.

Hey some one just listed two new ones on ksl in the rock crawler parts section.300 for the pair

http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=39348038&cat=677&lpid=&search=&ad_cid=6

Thanks, I checked the ad. My concern with the older style MT/Rs is that they haven't been produced for several years (12?) now, so even though they are "new, never used" they are still probably 10+ years old. Tire manufactures often don't recommend using tires that are more than 4-6 years old, and I know from experience that many tire shops won't even touch a tire that is over 6 years old. I'm sure if tires are properly stored they'd last a lot longer, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I only carry one spare tire.;)

I recently had a friend that was turned away from a Discount Tire Co. store with a tire that was old, but in great shape. He wanted it mounted, but they told him that the most they'd do is MAYBE put air in it if it was already mounted. He won't be going back there.

How about you replace the MTR's with my set of 37's, then split up your MTR's for us that need spares?:)
