xj blower no workie

The blower on my xj has decided to stop blowing air... so I have no heat and no air conditioning... I put up with it through the summer but now that it's getting reeeally cold, I would like to have a heater. I checked the blower fuse in the fuse box under the hood, and I replaced it to no avail. What else could it be? bad connection? bad blower? OH yeah it's a '99 cherokee.... thanks

very likely a bad blower...those are known to go out...

I tore my dash apart during the summer and had the same problem when it became cold. I found that I had unplugged the switch on accident. I felt back under the dash and tried to feel for the connection and found it just barely unplugged. At first glance it looked like it was still plugged in. Try this.

turns out it was a bad connection in the fuse box inside the vehicle on the passenger kick panel. I pulled the climate control fuse and checked it, it looked good so I put it back in and all of a sudden the blower works now.... sooooo thanks for the help, i'm glad it was something simple and free
