yj steering column

so i need to replace my steering column, and wondering if anyone has any exprecince pulling one out, need to get the multi function switch replaced is the real concern, ...



any pointers would be helpful, or if there is anything to watch out for, like snaping the thing in half

multi-function switch = turn signal stalk?

I don't think you need to pull the column. You might not even have to pull the steering wheel, but I don't really remember. I'm of little help as my "YJ" column is an '89 Chev column.
