Our stupid, smoky tree got pushed over by a ghost today, spilling all the water and shedding half the ornaments… so we took at back and got a new one. The owner didn’t put up a fight at all and just replaced it for free. This tree smells magical but the wife is less than stoked to decorate again 🤣

Finally, I'm getting around to doing this. It sucks but at least it will be done somewhat right. The truck it was on had questionable fab work, so I am re-doing the way it will mount to my 4 door truck.

I'm getting it into position in the shop today. Deciding if I want to try and put it on anything or simply bolt it to the floor or just get leveling feet and run it.

I love working on manual lathes. It's one of my favorite things to work with as a machinist. Vertical mills are extremely useful.
Maybe when I grow up I'll have a cool shop with fun toys like that.
