I'd guess doing a screen capture (ctrl+prnt screen or alt+prnt screen) then cropping the picture...

I cant get mine to work either. i can print it to a file, but there is nothing on my comuter to decode it.

When you get the pic you want hit cntrl+prntscn then open paint and go to edit and then paste. Then you can cut out the part you don't want and your done.

ah but the control print screen does nothing here, nor does alt print screen. my computer seems to be confused on how to make that button work

how about just print screen? that's what works for me
