On one hand I wish my wife wanted an Odyssey because they’re amazingly functional and convenient. But I wouldn’t want to drive it because I don’t want to be a minivan guy. That means she’d be driving and well, I value the lives of our family too much to risk that 😳

Odysseys are basically Accords, so there are lots of aftermarket parts you can throw on it to make it "fun" to drive.

they really are so nice and functional. While her Highlander momcar is pretty fun to drive it probably wouldn't take much to make the Odyssey comparable. But she said never so alas...

There's no way I'd still be married if I had ever been stupid enough to try and make Cindy drive a minivan. This is the closest she ever came to driving a minivan, with captains chairs in the second row. But she has always preferred to drive my trucks to her cars no matter what she has.

I once left a case of bottled water with two families in a pair of Odyssey's at the Cathedral Butte trailhead into Salt Creek. They were gonna be sitting there a day or two or three until it dried out enough for them to get out of the trailhead parking lot. We could have drug them out of where they were stuck with our Jeeps, but they'd have only got stuck again a minivan length after unhooking the strap. And we weren't prepared to drag two minivans all the way off the mountain. They said they had food enough, I made sure they had water enough. They were gone when we came back out three or four days later.

Long winded way of saying, they didn't look like much fun to drive.

I’m not gonna lie I think this is a decent value. It even comes with some fixturing stuff. It’s in the new product alert email.

We were talking about this back in September.
Here the original table they knocked off:

Klutch Steel Welding Table with Tool Kit - 36in.L x 24in.W x 33 1/4in.H https://a.co/d/doytM9P

Both are very thin: 4mm isn't even 3/16"... More like 5/32"
I'd bend that like a noodle.
You could likely dent it with a ball peen.
Might be worth it if you could buy a second top and double it up though!

I have one of the Klutch tables, and it's definitely adequate for the price. Nothing too cool or fancy, but it is handy for the fixturing abilities it offers. The top is definitely thick enough for normal welding and fab duties - does not feel flimsy at all, but I wouldn't be using it as an anvil. I haven't had issues with flatness (or possible lack of) of the top, but I haven't needed the super precision of a $$$$ fab table either. The size is nice too for most projects you'll do - brackets and many things short of a complete chassis - and you can easily move it around the shop.

Long story short, I think it (the Klutch table) is good deal for a decent little table. I'm sure the HF one is as well.

Dear Diary.... Nate admits he likes a Toyota...
It still has stuff that drives me nuts though…
The Bluetooth functionality is trash. Our ‘14 CRV was better for that.
The maps SD card just died the other day at random. No more navi (we never used it) but the speed limit function is gone too.
Don’t get me started on the garbage fuel mileage 😳
