humm,,, i couldn't imagine cutting steel with a steel blade with teeth, the kind i'm talkin bout is just an apoxy rock compound disk they are ussually only a few dollars per disk, you should be able to get them in any welding supply shop

walter is the brand of blade they make chop saw blades and grinder ZIP CUT blades too i use makita and a milwalkee chop saw with a 14" blade i can use em till you can't cut through a 1" square tube,

i had the same problem with the "glaze" thing goin on, i switched to a WALTER CHOPCUT and that cured everything i just ran out to the shed to make sure that thats what they were and yep thats what they were, they are the chit, they last long and are the cheapest ones i found good...
