1976 Bronco - Frome Off Project

Sorry for no recent posts. I have been extremely busy, and unfortunatly the Bronco has been put on the back burner for now. It looks like things may be changing soon though...I am excited to get some more work done.

    Your psychic computer

It took me about 3 tries to notice that the symbols weren't staying with the numbers. Once you look into that it is obvious. :)

    Your psychic computer

Thats cool. It had me for a minute, until I figured out the numbers and corresponding symbols change. He explained it perfectly, if you use there formula to come up with a number, whatever number you start with is always going to end up a multiple of nine (old math trick). From there it is...

1976 Bronco - Frome Off Project

Do you have any pics? I just don't want the vents to be all mashed up like they are on most of them. I am doing my own thing with the front and the switches, I just want to make sure the vents aren't rusted and bent.

1976 Bronco - Frome Off Project

I am working on the axles right now. It will be a little bit, maybe sometime next week. My schedule is real hectic right now.

1976 Bronco - Frome Off Project

I bought it without a body. I just bought the rolling chassis, hence - NO GAS DOORS! I am not THAT stupid. :greg:

    Auto or Manual

I prefer an auto. I drive a manual in my CAR everyday and love it, but for climbing steep hills and negotiating different situations I like an auto. You can spend some money though an do cool things with manuals. My friend got a starter that he can use to start his rig in gear, so if he is in...

1976 Bronco - Frome Off Project

Here is some crazy news...this dog turns out to be a 1977! I have had some trouble chasing the title down, and it turns out its a 77. I do not think there are any differences other than the gas doors (on the body, I could care less). Does anyone know of any differences?

1976 Bronco - Frome Off Project

I am going to tear into the axles tomorrow. The frame is ready to go. jlowry just saved me some money and hooked me up with some parts. He got me a nascar locker for the 9 inch, 31 spline yukon axles, 4.88 r&p with master install kits for both the front and rear. All the stuff is brand new...

1976 Bronco - Frome Off Project

That is hilarious. About 6 years ago I decided to take the carpet out of the 74 I had at the time, and that itself lead to a 14 week project. I did everything on that old truck except what I am doing right now, painting and sandblasting the frame. I really miss that old truck, and that is why...

1976 Bronco - Frome Off Project

I have just stock t-case (Dana 300) and I have a C4 (which is stock) and an AOD out of a mustang. I would like to run the AOD just for the sake of having overdrive, but it requires a $500 adapter and is about 12" longer. It would make the drivetrain 14" - 15" longer which puts a pretty extreme...

    Tires Locked Up!!!

I agree with Rusted. Dropping the drivelines is a quick and easy way to determine if the problem is in the drivetrain. That is absolutely bizzare.
