I'll second that. To me it's seems like something that they are trying to sell like HEMI or Trail rated or spec v. But i'm going to assume that the trd options are not all the same, but come with different combos of options depending on what you want to pay for. I'm looking for the e-locker but...

ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS, i'm going to check that out, that would be awesome when tuning subarus or even testing out hp and torque diffences when in 4wheel, two wheel, 4lo, etc. etc. Heck i might even appy for work. I've heard some pretty gruesome storys about people getting mamed by wire cables when they snap. Hands litertally cut off, and so on. In fact i'm so scared of metal winch cables i don't even like to look at them when there just sitting there all rolled up. I'm a that at any random moment one...

Ha!, that would be kinda cool, but seriously i'm the kind of person that gets a kick out of putting it in 4wheel when "flexing" on a parking block. Ya that's right poser style. It would be pretty sweet for desert racing though.

Well they actually start great in cold weather, it just the water heaters that warm the tank gas i'm sure.

Is this true about trd pkg. having a signature "drain plug on drivers side"? Any other way to tell if it's TRD? I don't necessarily care if it is or not but i will be buying it at a car auction in California, and just want to be sure of what i'm getting. Thanks

Most likely getting a 4x4 Tacoma and interested to know what is prefferable. For use with daily driving, off road, and whatever else. what's the gas mileage on a 2.7? gas mileage on the 3.4? TRD or not? I see TRD on just about every toyota around, how do i know it's really a TRD...

O and if someone can hook me up with a contact (email or something ) on this install i'd be intested in talking with them further. I checked out gotpropane and some other sites, thanks for that. And again let's hear some opinions yo.

Well i'd like to convert to propane or use duel fuel because it would extend my range, i've heard it's cheaper, but honestly i really can't confirm that, and for the environmental impact. With a newer tacoma i doubt it would be worth it for me because i'd want to build the motor right, in order...

Why not cut off and re-weld on the mounts to the body. If needed just replace the mounts with new ones.

Full time is 4wd for dummies I love full-time, I never use anything else unless I'm crawling or need more torque. I've never had a problem needing more direct traction and it rides so smooth you can barely tell it's there, i also never have a problem dis-engaging unlike part-time or 4lo. but...

What is the difference between 4hi and full time? I belive it says 4hi on my floor read shifter, but full time on my dash. So are 4hi in the 231 and full time in the 242 the same thing?
