Those rocks have been there for at least 2 years. Steelbender is a great trail. You always have the other obstacle due west of that one shown that is fun. I believe it is a detour off the main trail though.

From what I understand the trail in its entirety is closed to 4x4 vehicles since November 1, 2004 until the Spring 2005. It is now open to snowmobiles. If you drive during the closed condition you may get fined.

It is roughly at the southern base of the Oquirr Mountains. Get off I-15 at the Lehi Roller Mills exit and go west. My guess is about 15 miles you will see the base of the mountains on the right hand side. Look for lots of vehicles and come ready to work. Thanks!
