I have never been, but it doesnt look like the trails are very hard
Has any one been there before that would know?
I would like to go I am looking for something to do that weekened

I haven't missed one of these for the last 6 or 7 years. There are obstacles that challenge the WE rock and King of the Hammers buggies if you know where to look. Toughest trail is Arockalypse but it's only 1/4 mile or so. Lots of red rock around, I guarantee you'll find something you like. Raffle and dinner are quite good, and the money goes to a good cause.

I might finally be able to make this this year! Ok places to camp around the area?

We used to camp right off the main road into the trail system. With BLM persuation, they now have the basecamp at the fairgrounds a couple of miles away. If you don't mind trailering a ways in, you can camp right next to some of the better obstacles.

I know it's a long drive, but I REALLY doubt you would be disappointed in the terrain.

I don't do the camping thing much and if the wife comes with me, she likes Mesquite, NV (about 30 minutes north of Logandale). Little casino/golf course town with cheap buffets! haha

IIRC, trail sign ups are on-site at basecamp. I don't want to step on any toes, but unless someone is looking for a scenic trail I would recommend following around the comp buggies and hitting the big stuff. Most of the really cool stuff is in a couple of square miles of the start of the trail system. Understand if you do the sign-up trail rides, you have better be looking to meet new friends and watch others hit some obstacles otherwise you are going to be bored.

If you can't find me, find anyone from Total Karnage (there'll be a BUNCH!) and tell 'em Bryan from Hardline4x4 said that they'd show you a good time!

If you want to camp, you need to decide whether you want to camp in basecamp (quite a bit of blacktop between camp and wheeling) or down in the trail system (there are camp areas right next to the obstacles).

Basecamp can be a little rowdy, but they're good folks. Plan on dinner and raffle for Saturday night and maybe some night wheeling if you are up for it.

Are there any trails that'd be fun in my stock tacoma? I have sliders and bumpers, but that's it.

There are a few scenic trails that I'm sure you would have fun on. The website mentions only the Bowl trail and the Matterhorn for lightly modified vehicle, they usually have the Logandale loop trail and a run further south around the Valley of Fire.

The meat of the Hump N Bump event is typically the red rock off-camber, wedges and such which is pretty tough without lockers.

Sumo, I knew I would find you in the H&B thread, lol. I see you have a new rig, impressive...Hope you have been well.

One note for those camping on the trail side. DON"T camp at the pad this year! BLM or Forest Service or etc., will be writing tickets.

Paul and I will be there for the raffle, no rigs this time, too darn much money for the event this year
