93 Truck to 4runner conversion

Guess I should post since this is my truck Yeah the Toyoyta fuel pump and sending unit are both in the s10 tank. It took a little work but they both fit very nicely.

Today we finished welding and grinding drivers bedside, then installed a cross bar and drilled some holes for the car seat tethers, and put some eye bolts through the cage for holding the spare tire down.

Color is up in the air at the moment, but most likely green for now. We are really hoping to be finished for EJS.

Huge progress! Sage tackled the body work himself, turned out pretty good for a crawler. (and first time with body work)

I was able to sneak away again last night to finish up the welding.

Just curious, what about body flex? I wonder if there are differences in body to frame mounts from the pickup to 4runner.

Keep it up it really looks great!

With the cage tied to the frame in 8 places, we really arent worried about frame flex. His toyota really didnt seem to have much frame flex to start with.

Time will tell!

I'm hopeing to go down those same days, if I get my rig done. Planning to run golden spike Friday with a couple guys off the forum if you want to come.
