I'm guessing once you drilled holes in your existing table it might be easier to take some of the bends out of it.

I'm guessing once you drilled holes in your existing table it might be easier to take some of the bends out of it.
Once it's drilled, you could bolt it to an I-beam or bolt it to a new flat table frame and heat up the low/high spots to relax them.

That all still sounds like work. Grinding the entire top "flat" by dragging it around does not sound like work. :D I'll have to revisit that conversation with the wifey.
