Relish Moab and the red rocks in the snow!! The wife and I have been in Moab a few times for New Year's and everything is so incredibly beautiful in the snow. Few people get to experience a snowy Moab area. It is to be cherished as a wonder.

Totally Awesome
Well we went to Canyonlands. 12 of snow there. Elephant Hill was closed.

So we drove back to Moab and checked out Newspaper Rock.

Stopped at Maverick and refilled.

Headed back out of town to Gemini Bridges and went up Bull Canyon. Pretty easy even with all the snow. Bit it was pretty cool none the less. Didn't use low range at all today.

Only got on poser shot. Not really flexed out all the way. Oh well.

Great pictures of snow on the rocks.
I still kick my butt for not stopping to take pictures on the way back from Hole In The Rock this spring.
It snowed the last night on the trail and on the way back the mesa's had snow half way up to the top, the dry washes near Fry canyon had running water, the clouds were stunning in the sunset, and I kept driving to meet everyone for burgers in Hanksville. The burgers are easy to get, the snow on the mesa's and water in the dry washes I may never see again.

<<sigh>>
