RG finished 15th in today's stage. A smidge better than his 133rd position yesterday.

Watching stage 1 recap now on NBC, a grip of Mini's... wow.

De Villiers had mechanical issues... boo.

The Minis mean business. I guess that Chinese car did awesome last year as well.. Haval? Never heard of it, but didn't follow Dakar very closely last year.

I'd love to see RG or BJ win a stage.

Gordon places 6th in today's stage, only 7 minutes behind the leader! And comes away with 41st overall.
