I like it too, kind of reminds me of the batmobile or stealth color. I have a line on a transmission I think, its a R150 and he want 100$ Not to bad, it has 133,xxx on it. I will rebuild it before it goes in so I am not so worried about the miles.
Unfortunately I just got hit with a storm of work including a H2 Duramax conversion that needs wiring! And a tubo sandrail that is getting a AEM engine management controller. Oh well work is good

Stock supra clutch. Nothing special. Then later on I switched to a 22re clutch, just because I had a brand new one sitting in the corner of my shop forever. It worked fine too.

Nick has been swamped with all the customer rigs he is working on, I know he is quietly collecting parts. I know he got his tranny and adapter. I'm sure once he can breathe he will post up.

Ok I am back at it, I have caught up a little at work and am ready to spend some money and time to get this thing going. Its been killing me to look at it in the corner of my shop.

picked up some tires today. They were not my first pick but the price was right so i grabbed them while I could. 285/75R16 procomp extreme mud terrain on procomp wheels.
If any one wants them i sell them for a good deal.

Alright here is my trany I got for 25 buck so I can test fit everything. And here is the adapter next to the 1uz bell housing.

I got it mated up but ran into a problem, It doesn't fit!! I am going to have to clearance the bell housing a bit so the trany bolts will clear.

Much better! and there you have it, R series transmission almost ready to bolt up to a 1uz

I am getting my front axle tomorrow and hopefully the suspension soon to follow. I really want to get this going so I can sell my tundra and drive this!

My friend has a 97 4runner he is parting out, I am going to take the dash, center counsel, and seats to put in this thing just to bring it up to date inside a little.
