fuel tank pressure

I have an 82 CJ7 that has been converted over to a 302 with Howell fuel injection. This has worked well for several years. Then I started having pressure build up in the tank to the point that it would not allow the pump to pump fuel. When you remove the cap it would shoot fuel out. In my tracing out possible problems I discovered that the rollover check valve was plugged. In removing it one of the ends broke of of the liquid check valve. The two parts are on the disconntinued list. My question is has anyone wlse had this problem and what they did to remedy it. :-\

I'd probably just replace the parts with generic vent/rollover valve parts from Summit Racing or something similar.

Just run a vent line to somewhere where it won't suck water or make you breathe gas fumes.
If you want to be environmentally conscious, plumb in a charcoal canister and vent it to that. Vent the canister to ported vacuum on your throttle body, so it doesn't pull vacuum on it all the time.
