We are beginning to build our first Crawler. Not real sure what we are doing yet, but I am sure we will figure it out as we go. Here is our recent pics of what we started with and what we have done so far. Will try to keep the pics updated as we build more.

Sounds fun! I'd try to get an idea of what you want or you spend Alot of money changing things over and over

Welded up the main bars and the bars across the dash and the rear.

Getting a little closer. Have all of the main bars complete. Now just have to put in the bars to give it character. Seats and belts are getting ordered. Will be on the trails soon.

What type of material is the roll cage? DOM, HREW?

Sorry usually when I see rusty rollcages I assume its HREW (Hot Rolled Electrically Welded Tubing) I was wondering what size you used?

1 3/4 HREW pipe.

So fill us in what all is planned in the build?

Just have to finish with the cage, New seats and harnesses, paint, and a lot of big rocks to crawl over. Leaving the motor and everything stock for now. Once it breaks then put in the heavy duty parts. Just need time to get things done.
