That van looks like a roll over looking for place to happen. I didn't vote for the Jeep cab forward because it looked too clean.

Good luck Utah boyz.

If one of the top 10 doesnt show then number 11 moves in. If 2 dont show then Im in. Other than that...I get to run the courses when the top ten are done and basically hang out for the week. I will get a page or so in the magazine with a couple pics and I will still get a portion of the product at the end of the comp.

So.....I get a wheeling vacation!!

I believe that the white FC Jeep got in because it is odd. Wayne Sheely also was the co-piliot for his wife Addy Sheely for a past Top Truck Challange. If you look back at all the voting polls there is always one or two really odd rigs that make the top 50 or so. The Aerostar and the FC are two of them. I don't really know how well that Big Ford pickup truck is going to do. We have seen it time and time again that the big mud trucks just don't do very well consistantly. Last year Philip McGinton was able to get that big red Chevy through the courses and just did a fantastic job doing it. This was a pleasant supprise as most just total their trucks. Not from a lack of trying just too big and wide. Add in all that sheet metal and you have the makings of a wrecked rig. Fun to watch others mess up their junk but normaly not all that when it comes to a winning combination. Best of luck to you ChestonScout and I will be pulling for you. Give me a call if you are wanting some added help or info. (505) 603-9506. I will see if I can help you.

OK, I have talked to the other TTC judges about an Idea. My idea is that we let all 12 competitors( alternates included) run all the events until the last day. Then since the tank trap takes so long, we pick the top ten scorers up to that point to run in the tank trap. That way all the competitors go all out in all the events. In years past, some competitors hold back saving their rig for the tank trap. Not with this idea! It is balls to the wall ( old Navy saying) the whole time and see who isthe best before the Tank trap even starts. I am trying to get Robin Stover and Douglas to buy-in to the idea. Hope it flys then Cheston would be in for sure:D.

I think that is an excellent idea Stan! That should make the competition more fierce which in turn would provide more entertainment and a better DVD in the end.

Hopefully they will go for it!

Ok Update on the TTC judging front. Robin and Douglas love the idea:D:D:D Hurray, however:sick:, we need to convince the upper management and the film crew from FourWheeler TV. They feel that it is too late to institute the new rules for this years TTC, but they can do it for sure next year. It is all very political, since there is a new company that owns FourWheeler and all, you knoww....yadda yadda...blah blah. blah....:-\ So I don't know what is going to happen. The official rules will be posted on FourWheelers Web page, so everyone should tune into that to get the official rules and all.

So Cheston will be in if some folks don't show up. Last year was one of the first years that everyone made it. So Cheston better hope for bad weather on the East Coast the week leading up to TTC. Maybe Some folks won't be able to make it.

I do know if they do like last year, Cheston can opt to run the events for fun and " Practice" so he could enter the next year.

Good luck!!!

Hey Sprueitt, I saw you driving down main street moab over the weekend. The dodge is as cool in person as in the pics. We ran Hells revenge with your boss Rich (I think that's his name) and his clan.
