Open registration is going on now for this years ITTC!!

Ive been competing since 2008 and its always a blast! Its a laid back comp. Everyone there is good people and its put on just for fun. Its in Mountain Home Idaho on Sept 21.

This year they are doing something new. If they get 40 registered trucks...they are going to do a PAYOUT! 400 bucks for first place. BUT...if they also get 400 paid spectators they will kick in another 800! Its like 5 bucks to watch and you get a raffle ticket as well!

They have a RTI, sled pull, obstacle course, mud pit, and a rock course.

There are different classes for different tires sizes.

The rigs are very diverse as well. Everything from stock Izuzu Rodeos to full on U4 cars, to monster buggys. So ANY kind of rig is welcome to compete! A lot of the guys up there will buy a junker just for the event and have the time of their life destroying it! They are also the funnest guys to watch.

As of now there are only about 20 rigs registered. But registration is only open til Sept 1 so the procrastinators will be coming out soon. Reserve your spot today! Or if you dont want to compete, take a road trip and come watch. They try to do some shananigans which is fun to watch as well.

Here is the link you need to register
http://www.wildwest4wd.com/ittc_registration.html

Just 35 bucks. You can get a T shirt for another 15 and they take paypal.

Any questions fire away! I hope to see some RMEers up there!

there is a decent group of us.

But really its not just a Big Tire class. We are just going for the overall win. So we are competing against the smaller tires as well. A small tired rig could infact win his class AND the overall win. But that hasnt happened yet.

So WHEN you show up....you will be competing against everyone there. Not just guys on 54s

Wow I would love to see the scout and monster buggy both get abused on the same day. Sounds fun maybe I should drag my junk up there as well. Someone has to come in last place.

I broke the rear output shaft on my 205. But parts are in the mail. Should have them today.

The drive up is fairly boring.

There is a cool canyon the Snake River goes thru in Twin Falls. Take the first exit and you cant miss it. Its worth checking out.

There are some good wheelin trails up there. We were talking about staying and wheelin monday morning for a bit but everything is on fire so need to see whats gonna be open. Might be able to squeeze in Moab. Have to ask the wife.

If your interested.....they do a SMACK TALK thread on their local forum. Its all for fun but they do a trophy for it at the comp. Lets just say I have more than one smack talk trophy. It just started today so hopefully it picks up.

They are pretty relaxed with the rules. If its safe, they will let you run. If your battery is held in by the cables....they will make you strap it down.

Helmets are required. And they are going to require a neck brace for the Obstacle Course this year. They will have 2 up there to borrow if you dont have one. Just one of the cheap foam braces.

Been a few guys shake themselves up pretty good.

Bring your helmet and you will be fine

While in the nastiest traffic ever on our way to Boise I saw what looked to be a Subaru Brat on 49 inch Iroks heading toward mountain home. It was massive! Wish I could be there to watch the festivities. I'll be at a wedding instead... Booo

*disclaimer: I could be wrong about the Brat, tires, and size. I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye as it past. But, it would be cool if I was right!
