Well the economy got the best of me. If anybody out there knows of any work let me know. 6 yrs operating heavy equipment, trackhoes, loaders, scrapers and so on. Mainline pipe and foundation work. Basements and Demo. Prior to Excavation work I was Marine. Seeking anything right now in or out of the excavation world. Trying to get into new trade but had a good thing going and wanted to hang in there but now with wife and kids this is killing me. Thanks in advance. BTW I am good to go with out of town work if ya know of any thanks!

watch URS I work in the Washington division in Soda Springs Id.Been there 18 years ,You have probably seen WGI trucks all over Salt Lake. We do alot at Kennecott. Mostly heavy equipment.They usually hire alot in the spring,good pay-17.00 hr to start at most sites.

-I am looking for a Full-Time position. Anywhere in Utah County is fine, and if the job opportunity arrises, I have no problem commuting up to south Salt Lake County (Draper, Sandy, Bluffdale, Riverton etc) for work.
-For the past 5 years (since junior high
,) I have been slaving my body away doing manual labor, and running heavy equipment for construction companys. Now although this type of work makes you very appreciative of what you have, and makes you a hard, honest worker, it is time for me to start chasing my career and doing what I live for. I chose to do work now, instead of futher schooling (college). I am very dedicated in being able to take pride in the work that I complete.
Fabrication-
- I have 11 years of welding experience under my belt. I can ARC and MIG and have been working on my TIG. Although I don't have a long time under my belt with TIG welding, I feel confident in my welds on numerous materials, including aluminum and stainless steel and can lay a consistant bead.
I have;
- Moderate experience with fiberglass fabrication and repair.
- Moderate experience with tube bending/notching etc.
- Moderate Oxy/Act torch and Plasma torch experience.
- Some experience with ironworkers/shop presses/press-brakes.
- Sandblasting experience
- Moderate bodywork experience. (basic sheet metal work, welding, filler, paint)
- Can tap holes etc.
- No current lathe experience- would like to learn)
- Moderate AutoCad experience

I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the 4x4 world with adequate know-how of almost all aspects of a 4x4.
- Moderate experience with engines/rebuilding etc.
- Moderate chassis electrical work. (relays & fuses, body lights, radio & amplifier install (and speakers/subs))
- Moderate suspension experience. (leaf spring work/coils/coilover/multi-link suspensions etc)
- Replacing ball-joints/tie-rod-ends/pitman arms/steering shafts/CV axles
- Moderate drivetrain work;
--Axle work; (U-joints/axle shafts/yoke replacement/etc)
--Brake systems- from the booster and master cyl, to the rotors/drums and everything inbetween.
--I havn't had many opportunities to do ring & pinion alignment, and would like to expand on my education with that.
