New to Utah

Just though I'd introduce myself. My name is Tim, and I just moved to Sandy from Idaho Falls, ID. Some of you might have known me on the forums up there a while back as K10frankenstein.

I thought I'd come check out the forum here, although I currently don't have a rig to go crawling in other than my 2008 WRX. :greg: I used to run a Samurai and a Chevy truck, but I ended up selling everything after losing my job a while back.

Now that I'm down here, with a new job, I'll be looking for a new rig. (Jeep Cherokees are cheap on KSL here, is that a good thing, or should I run away?)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to some fun trail rides!

Welcome, man!

I think a Cherokee is a great way to go if you know what to look for and what to run from. It's a cheap way to get wheeling again, that's for sure.

Welcome!

I bought my Cherokee off of KSL and couldn't be happier with it. It was about the 20th Jeep I looked at though. Like Troop92 said, educate yourself on what to look for, you'll find a good one eventually.

Welcome! I used to wheel a Cherokee. They really do need a bit of lift and bigger tires, but on the plus side they are relatively inexpensive and you don't feel bad when you bang them up on the trails. Wouldn't be my first choice in my situation, too small for the wife, kids and dogs plus camping gear, but would probably still be in my top 5. I liked my Cherokee, I just outgrew it.
