Especially being so close. That wide shot showing how close across the river was amazing.

Ya, but I felt pretty safe coming to the edge of the river on my side, the river was really deep and swift current-ed. My car was about 50 feet behind me, after I stopped a few others showed up to shoot him, but the light was quickly going away... those bear shots are anywhere between 2000-4000 iso.. so its REALLY high.. just damn glad I have a full frame high end sensor to handle that low light, the lens I had wasnt too great for the light at 6.3 aperture.
