I've tried them, I think, but it seems I have not developed an opinion. I don't like a lot of salsa on my chips (I'm a wuss), more of a light coating is good, for me. So the scoop thing probably doesn't do anything for me.

I tried the scoops, as I like a moderate amount of salsa on my chip, but i found the steep angles of the sides made dangerous tortilla spears when they break, that made it unpleasant to bite the chip... I didnt' like them.
