Curious why the check valve on the vent. Doesn't it need to vent both ways?

I’m guessing roll over. It shouldn’t need to vent both ways. But another way to do I to is to run a loop on the vent to the top of the roll bar then back below the fuel cell so if you roll it doesn’t dump fuel.

Yup, rollover valve. The previous tank just had loops in the vent line. The previous tank also had a rubber expansion plug for the filler cap. 😬 😬

My first one on the buggy was like that for the vent. Every waterfall climb I ended up with swirled around fuel all over everything in the back lol

Why wouldn't you put the filler to one side ? Seems much more of a pain to fill in the center vs standing to the side of the rig.

The tank is complete except for the fuel and vent lines getting hooked up.




Nate will be proud of me for actually spending money on a part.



I'm going to replace the front LCA bushings with flex joints from Julene.

New rear upper shock mounts, required after lowering the rear 5".




You'll also see that the rear brake line is fully plumbed now.

I can reach it from either side.

After installing the tank, it looks like I can reach the filler hole from both sides AND the rear!

I replaced the clevite bushings in my rear LCA's with Summit Machine joints. The clevite went south shortly after I sold Britney back in 2004, and it's been run like this until now.
