The new rig conundrum

I’ve been really happy with all the AEV stuff I’ve had. My LJ has the TJ Highline kit, AEV wheels and Nth/AEV progressive springs. All except the rear springs have over 100k on them and still nice. Replaced the rear springs with the same ones at about 80k.

Put RT dual sport on Cindy’s JLU. Installed JK version of the same kit on a friend’s JKU. They both ride way good.

Stoked to see your new truck out getting used!

Thanks Dave. I’m glad to hear you have good things to say about AEV, especially considering the amount of Offroad miles you have.

I think you need to try loading and unloading your dirtbikes a few times before you commit to a lift.. you may not enjoy it being any taller..
It actually won’t be much taller. The power wagon comes with 2” lift springs, and they come out When installing the AEV 3” lift. Why you ask? Just for the stronger parts, and moving the front axle 1.5” foreword to accommodate 40” tires.

So the height difference will be +1” of lift and the 33” tires changing to 40” 😎

Like any teenage kid who works making decent money with no living expenses, Jack has been putting some lipstick and blush on this truck. He has tinted the windows legal levels:rofl::rofl:

He has done a blackout kit on all the badging and added a TRD Pro grill with lights

He added a 2” Eibach lift but has been waiting 2 months now for his wheels so I will post a pic when that comes.

Lastly, he had some KTM cash that he needed to use and since we are in Yamahas now we are not needing many parts from the edge. So since we can use the money for anything in the dealership he ordered these PRP seat covers. They go on over the stock cloth and lay out really nice. He put them on himself in about 2 hours

It only took 3 months but the wheels Jack ordered came in. He bumped up to a 17” Nlack Rhino wheel that is a blue pearl color, wrapped in 285 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The color on the wheels is pretty cool looking almost black in the shade and the sun really pops the blue color. 7F53CDF7-A9BF-4FC9-908E-D7F97C088149.jpeg

He has also added these smoked tail lights and just got these headlights that have black trim instead of the chrome

The Taco is officially out of the RME family and has a new home in Eagle Mountain. Only took 2 days to sell with very little scam action. First person who came and looked at it.......bought it.
Wow that was fast! I’m glad he didn’t have to deal with many KSL Dbags 👍
