I pulled this off of my FJ40 after 15 years and many many pulls. The housing that bridges the two sides was cracked and the aluminum bits were getting quite corroded... but it functioned. I tore it down as I was having some funky issue where it wouldn’t always fire the motor in either direction, turned out to be a bad cable connection on the positive terminal of the motor. I kept disassembling in hopes of replacing the cracked bridge, hardware and having it powder coated. It was too far gone for my liking, more broken/stripped bolts and time required than I had.
So anyone want spare parts? a project? a science expiriment?
