When I went down to get parts for my 8274 they gave me a bunch of parts for free and a good deal on the parts I bought. They are good to work with.

You need to take it to there winch repair facility, 17th South & ~250 West in SLC. Talk to John/John in the winch/PTO shop. Both are extremely knowledgeable on winch repairs. I've had them fix all sorts of broken winches, most covered under warranty
