Hello all..
I'm a newbie here at this place. I am also new to the world of off-road. I don't know which vehicle would be good for me a Jeep or a Toyota...Any advice? I would greatly appreciate your help.

I'm gonna need a bit more info before I can offer any informed opinion....like: What do you want to do with it? How many people do you need to fit? What's your budget?

Oh, and welcome. :)

parts galore, dirt cheap, and easy to work on fullsize ford or gm.
parts galore, can be pricy, less clearance to work on jeep.
harder to find parts, cheap or pricy, and not alot of working room toyota.
these are my experiances.

After taking my 1998 4x4 RCSB Chevy a little ways up Millville canyon today ... I can definitely say:

JEEP !!! (of the short wheel base, two door variety)

Seriously the Jeeps ability surprises me EVERY time we take it off road !!!

Hey, I went up Millville canyon today as well. Pretty cool little place. Nice to have the Jeep, a fullsize would have been scratched way bad.

Thanks guys..I don't care for the brand, I want to go on easy trails with my family and would like to try rock crawling step by step. So, looking for an old vehicle in 20 000 US$. Thanks so much again for the advice.
