Well if I can help you feel better. I lost another ICP sensor on my truck. Luckily it has 15 days more warranty. So I'll drive down and swap out the sensor at OReilly Autoparts.

Not a good sight. This CAN'T be this difficult, can it? Check for warped head sealing surfaces, verify all coolant passages are good to go, etc. Not rocket science to those that do this as a profession?

What is the name of the shop you are using so I can never call them, Ever. Sorry you're having suck a bad go with this truck. I've had six 6.0 super duties and combined they haven't had this much trouble.

Not the outcome I was hoping for you to have. Did you pay the guy with cash, credit or check? I don't know that I would have much patience to keep on taking it back to him to fix it again if it was mine.

If it makes you feel any better, my other buddy just traded in his 6.0 that blew it's second motor. It had HD head gasket, arp studs, oil cooler and egr delete and stock tune. High pressure oil pump went. He spent 10k on the second motor. So you're not alone.
They would only give him 6k trade, no one would give him anymore. He was stoked to get out from under that poor truck.

For one reason or another it continues to get pushed back. I don't think it's even seen a wrench yet. I talked to the shop Saturday, and he said that the right parts would finally be in Wednesday (today). We'll see what happens.

Today is only Tuesday. Just so you don't call them and get irritated that the parts aren't in.

Wow man. I don't think I'd be that patient with them.

I had a safety inspection on my truck yesterday scheduled at 8 am. Should have taken 20 minutes to do.

The stupid place didn't start looking at it until 11. Took almost an hour to finish. I was not happy. Wasted half my day with that crap.

FB just showed me that it was 1 year ago today that I picked this truck up. It's also been exactly 3 months since I dropped it off last time, and specifically said 'I can't wait a month again for this to get done'..

I think I will tell him I am picking it up next Saturday, working or not.

You must be like Job, patient. I don't think I would leave it anywhere for three months!

Haha I can see the parallel between Job's trials and 6.0 ownership.
Just think, if you somehow survive this you're going to be blessed two fold and live 140 years!

Wow, living 140 years with 2 broken 6.0's?? I thought Job was exalted, not placed in Hell...
