awesome, can't wait to see pictures and hopefully come by and check it out. I have a new addition to mine that should give me the edge over the weight advantage of that

Just ran on to this thread and it brings back more great memories. I remember Ken Miles, later died testing a Shelby Mustang, who raced one at Riverside Raceway in the early 60's in class B. You have done a great job stuffing everything together but I do not think the frame was cut back then. It will be great to see and hear.

But stuck more often.
And then yesterday there was this! Today it should get the black/red racing stripes down the body. I'm hoping to be able to pick it up Saturday, but not sure on that. Next week for sure. Then it will be a VERY careful mad dash to get it put together and running by the 25th. The owner will be up visiting so I want it running when they get here. Got to tell you, it scares me to death to work on this thing now that it's painted.

That paint looks really nice but at the same time I REALLY liked the teal color it was at the beginning of this thread.

Done and ready for pick up!!! I'm very happy with how it turned out (well it could have been finished 8 months ago...) The two colors are awesome. It's hard to see in the photos, but there is so much more color inside them. In the sun it will really look cool. I can't wait to get the engine put back in it. I had the intake and engine covers painted to match the grey. Should look real sharp.

From here I need about a month to put it all back together and then it will be off to upholstery. I need a few quotes for that so if anyone can recommend a place that will match the quality of what I have here, I'm all ears. I have no idea how long upholstery will have it, but it should be done after that. Maybe just in time for a springtime drive to PHX to drop it off.
