Just a quick cost update, the sticker shock part. Stucco is going to cost me an additional $2000. The tile roof supplies were another $800. By the time I get the power ran to it, and painted, I’ll be into it somewhere around $4500-$5000.

So far I’m into the shed about $1200. I’ve still got to get the walls stuccoed, which I will farm out. I don’t have a clue how much the tile roofing will run me but my gut tells me that won’t be cheap.

Bart, next time I’m up that way I’ll give you a call, maybe we can get a lunch scheduled. In the mean time, my place is your place, if you want a break from winter.

Just got back from a little test drive/tuning session on the new transmission.
Pulled out a Turbo 350 and swapped in a 4l80e in my old Blazer.
I'm using the Fitech controller for it.
Already using the Fitech for the motor so figured I might as well stick with them for the trans.
Had a little issue on the TPS harness but figured it out after 20 min of head scratching.
Just had to repin a connector. The motor was seeing 0-100% TPS while the trans was seeing 100-0% when I pushed the pedal.

Last summer out at knolls across the flats the Blazer ran right around 5000 rpm at a little over 100MPH.
This afternoon on the highway Closed racing course. It now runs right close to 4000 RPM and 120 MPH.
I didn't take it much past there as it handles like a boat and it was a little sketchy feeling trying to watch all the gauges and not flip over..lol
HUGE Improvement.

The tuning is pretty cool as well. I started out way to aggressive. It was chirping the 35's going into 3rd gear and it felt like the rear axle was gonna let go. Tamed it down a bit and still needs some adjusting but it feels pretty good now.

Best money spent on the old truck yet... The old truck runs good now...

I can't take credit for the design, I'm copying a bumper built by Brave Motorsports. I'm making a few changes to it like the receiver and a rear view camera.

Not too exciting, but in the midst of a shop remodel and I am restoring some of my grandpas old tools.
Here is a before and after of the drill bit holder that has been sitting in the window for at least 50 years.
