Is there any effort to filter and clean that water?
That’s got to be the most expensive temporary pool ever sitting in a $8k trailer 😳

we’ve got a 15’ intex quickset pool. Why not use something like that up there? Super cheap.

A cup of bleach and my beer farts are gonna have to do it.

I don't get why it's expensive. Sure, we could buy a pool, but why would you do that when ya got this dump trailer sitting right here and another one to fill it with?

I saw that too today Yikes! We paid $160 just in April. I think its a summer/covid/stimulus/etc rush on pools. I plan to buy a better, bigger one in the nearish future.. maybe I'll just wait for winter.

Lil maintenance on the big ugly mango

First after my gascap decided to take a leave of absence the other day it got a leash.



Then next it got some mirrors. Been wanting some for awhile on this bus and found these on Amazon for the right price. Cut the studs and welded them inside to keep them protected but i can still see aways back.



Next was the fuel system. Bought these inline check valves awhile back but just finally got around to putting this one in on the return line. Factory flow through holes on it were 1/4" so I drilled them out to 5/16 which still gave the lil rubber valve enough sealing surface. After that I corrected a bend in my feed line off the tank. It was bent in a 90 and noticed the other day the line was soft right there so I'm guessing it might have been collapsing a lil from heat and the bend which made me worry about it doing the dreaded fuel line collapse like the older duramaxs will do since it is on the siphon side of the pump. Put in a 6an 90 to correct said issue.

Then decided to spoil the ol titan. Run a cycle every other or two oil change to keep the beast on its toes of "maybe he does care". Only about 1000 over on this one lol also threw some Lucas injector cleaner in and some 91 ethanol free and changed the tune to its 91 setting

My old man bought an above ground pool a couple years again and never set it up with Covid and nothing to do we figured why not. This all played out over the last week. 95% of it was stuff just laying around turned out pretty good. Yes we’re pretty redneck.

I let a friend borrow my dump trailer, and it came back smashed. The tailgate and doors were bent pretty good. It took me about 20 hours altogether to get it down down and rebuilt. I am always amazed at how long it takes to fabricate things. I thought I would be done in just a few hours. And as you can see, I am every bit as precise and meticulous as mike 🙄🤣🤦🏼‍♂️

About a year ago we ripped some plumbing off the trailer when we got caught on some sage brush. I ‘trail fixed’ it the best I could, and we have been living with it half functional since then. Today was the day to fix it!
In reality, I just had to add some better drains to replace what was ripped off. But I ended up moving them to the middle of the trailer to prevent it from happening again. While I was at it, I moved the drain for the fresh water, as it was a screw on cap in the center of the tires. It was always a joke to empty. Now it’s a lever at the back of the tires.

Nice repair on the drain valves. Those look like good quality valves.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest you look at your spring bushings. This one looks to be shot.

I finally took the time to install a rear view camera in my Jeep. It's getting pretty inexpensive these days to do it yourself, so I've been planning for this since before I built my rear bumper.

This was a project that came to me from North Carolina. A gentleman reached out to me to see if I could engine turn a couple of signs for him. I had never engine turned anything before other than in high school a small piece of aluminum using a drill motor and a pencil eraser. This one made me nervous but told him I'd give it a try. For the most part I think it turned out pretty decent.

It was difficult to clamp and engine turn due to lack of material and voids created when it was cut. Any friction created from the dowel tried to pull at the material which necessitated having to clamp close and move them often to keep a very small area open.

One down, one to go.

Both done.

Carefully packaged back up and sent back to the owner in North Carolina.

Your spark filter has the wrong air gap.

Plus it's not getting spark fluid because the filter is empty
