    From what I've read these are markings from the people passing through the area back in the day. They wrote these with axle grease, there are some from 1870-80s but I didn't get a pic of them this time around.

    There are at least a few other trails down there as far as I seen, I'm not sure how hard they are but I'm told the other trail crosses the river a couple times and is a bit more fun.
