I look forward to the class... I'm going to go to some driving seminars at Overland Expo this year as well.
And here's a picture of my Rig from Fall of last year up in the sawtooths near Sun Valley.
For the class I'm in!
I recently finished up the RespectedAccess.org website for Treadlightly...
I'm a big outdoorsman so I'm all about Tread Lightly and conservation.
I know I could get a few more people for the class. How many people would you need to pull the trigger? I'd could start...
Thanks guys! I saw there was a few people going to Little Moab today... If I had seen that post a bit sooner I would have worked it out.
I've read a few 'driving offroad' books, but they just give theory, the theory I'm comfortable with, it's the real world experience that I need. A book can't...
RESURRECTION...
Crazy year for me, Engaged, 2 new dogs and a baby :D
But now I'm ready to start hitting the trails. Vehicle is still in the same form it was before.
I have a friend who wants to do elephant hill in a month or so, and camp in the needles, but I've done Elephant hill as a...
I am using washers on both sides(actually supplied wit the kit)... I'm guessing that the taper has been compromised as you say. It took a pitman arm puller to release the arm last time I replaced it, so it was really able to get wedged in there.
Any corrective measures short of replacing the...
Thanks for the tips!
These are HD Tie Rod with Moog Problem Solver Rod ends. The other side has no issues, but this side does.
The Tie Rods came from Independent4X.com.
Any suggestions on making these work? Or where I can [locally] get rod ends, and make sure they're the proper size?
So I keep loosing tie rod boots every time I go out.
I've lost 1 Black Urethane boot, one Rubber Boot, and now a Red Urethane boot (energy)
I'm not sure what is making it happen, I don't seem to have any sharp or rough edges.
Any suggestions? I'm tired of replacing them.
Here's an...
Wish I would have made it...
Wish I would have made it :(
That looks awesome... How was the trail? is it a 4-lo low gear trail?

I had radio trouble and didn't get on the road until 11:00 (ogden) so I ended up picking up my Nephew and we...
Good Job guys! That sounds like it was a "fun" operation. Nice to hear people helping people...
I unfortunately didn't even make the summit run :( Late start radio issues.
Love the urban Wheeling video...
Nice build... As soon as I get a big nice garage with a lift and all metal working equipment... I'll do a project like this ;)

This is my Brother...
The other beginner I was talking about... we have a ride scheduled the 19th of July, and I'm trying to do the American Fork canyon Ride tomorrow...
Hope all goes well :D
I'm going to be doing a trail up American Fork Canyon the 19th of July...
But I'm not sure what trail we're doing...
Will my vehicle make it? Isuzu Vehicross 33" tires, LSD rear, and open front.
And I'm a novice driver who might need baby sitting.
Cool...
I'll have to check it out...
What ever happened to JohnG? There are bazillions of ZR2s on the road, when we were into our rigs (99-2003) they were still "new" Now a days you can pick up a truck for $2500 and a Blazer for a little more.
So you've got everyone from Boy offroad racer...
You tell me when I'd love to hit a few trails.
I'll also try to go to the ZafaRi2 ;) Do you still have a Z? I've tried to register for ZR2.com, sent my old pictures in, said Roger knows who I am... But never worked out... never received a login.
Yes... tie rods definitely an issue...
