    Buggy Build/Suspension Experiment

I'm just interested to see how it works. My old Toyota had a high roll center, but not anywhere near as high as this. Your theory might be right, we probably won't know the real story until you take it out.

    Buggy Build/Suspension Experiment

I don't think you're going to experience and adverse handling when the cg raises above the roll axis, the roll moment will still be VERY small compared to the roll resistance from the shocks and springs. Changes in handling will probably not be noticeable. I Lean also has some good points...

    Buggy Build/Suspension Experiment

Very interesting build!!! You may want to consider more droop travel, it is important for a properly working suspension. When the axle droops the chassis will lift up to get on top of the whoops. Allowing the axle to droop into the whoops also allows for lighter compression dampening and...

King vs Fox: 2.0 Remote Reservoir Coilover Comparison

Thank you. Fox has a budget line in their 2.5 series where the price points are very different. The story is much different on 2.5" coilovers, I will write that article next. If you're running coilovers and bypasses it is less expensive to run King. Powder Metal (PM) vs Aluminum can get...

King vs Fox: 2.0 Remote Reservoir Coilover Comparison

I get asked a lot what the differences are with Fox vs King 2.0 Coilovers so I wrote an article to explain the differences. The article focuses on hitting the high points which impact durability, performance and value. All information is backed up with shock dyno test data and each brands...

    Tire weights

That wheel should probably have stick on weights. The clamp weights also have a tendency to come off in mud and rocks if you take this off-road.

    New Hobbiest & Vendor

Hi everyone, I'm Ryan at AccuTune Off-Road, and I love to go wheeling and to help people improve their suspension. Over the years I've had a few off-road vehicles such as my 71 FJ40, 1985 Toyota Truck, and 2004.5 Dodge Ram. For the past 15 years I have tuned and designed shocks for a variety...

Four Link vs Custom Alcan Leaf Springs

Links will outperform the leaf springs and will be substantially more durable. No more broken center pins, loose u-bolts, cracked frame, broken main leafs.... Links are the build it and forget it option. Coilovers also allow for much more off-road performance and handling with dual rate nuts...

    84' Toyota buggy build

I'm extremely impressed by your willingness to work outside under an ez-up in the rain. But I guess I went through that phase too. Nice work!

    Local Sway-A-Way shop?

You might have a hard time finding anyone with seals in stock right now. Sway-A-Way shock division was sold to AFE power and it's been 3 weeks since they've shipped anything. I've been using bypass seal kits to service some customers coilovers so they don't have to wait.
