    Inexpensive HD diff covers

I got 4 covers from Sean at Great lakes also. They are beefy and reasonably priced. If you have ARB's make sure you tell him and he will make more room in the cover for the copper air line.

    thing of beauty

He's using a mig using the circle back technique. Does nothing but make the weld look perty. Some say it weakens the weld. I'm no pro welder so don't ask me why. :D

    Fuel Injection

I have used Howell on my jeep and Affordable Fuel Injection on my buggy and they are both great products. AFI will be my choice from now on since the quality is top notch and the price seems to be the best.

    Recognizable Suburban

I messed with the 1st picture a little. Looks like possibly a mid to late 90s Ford by the emblem on the side and the big ole chrome front bumper but the squared back fenders are throwing me. They look more like a chevy. Might also have a bug shield and running boards or ground effects?

    cheapest buggy.

I also did a spreadsheet and the result is unbelievable. I added up all the things I have put on and taken off my Jeep and it is simply scary. It doesn’t include little things like starters, alternators, tune up stuff, etc. I have saved every major receipt I have ever gotten for my jeep since I...

How about a project of the month? On-Board welder question.....help my XJ

My electrical experience comes from on the job training and college courses taken in the past. You will be looking for an alternator that is externally regulated. Fords and Chryslers or Dodges are externally regulated and should have a diode trio in them. Anything from the 70's or 80's should...

    Rubicon Scramble 5

Actually it wasn't a very large group, only about 20+ in our clan. Traffic was bad that weekend from everyone trying to get a run in before the Jeepers jamboree. You all should try to make it out here at least once in your lives :) you would definately have a blast!!

    Rubicon Scramble 5

Everyone made it out under their own power. There was a lot of beakage and my welder and tools got a good workout, thankfully not on my jeep!! :) This was my first real punishing run on my new D60, D44, and EFI 360. I had no problems other than tire rubbage and we all know how to fix that :p .

Anyone pulled a motor from P&Pull

I got my AMC 360 from Pick and pull for 120.00. They do charge more for accessories including water pump, brackets, alternator, manifolds, etc. Basically you get a long block only. You definitely take a chance buying an engine that way but you do have the option of paying extra for an...
