Need opinions before handing $1200 to a plumber.... I have a small 1" crack in a 3" cast sewer pipe. Started leaking after plunging the toilet above it. The leak is in the bell of the coupler where it goes into the straight pipe out to the sewer. To replace it is $1200, because it is the y-pipe...

I have a friend that needs a rear end shop in GJ. The dealer wants to charge her $1000 and is telling her she needs new spider gears:rolleyes: It's a TJ with a 44 and less than 40K miles. I highly doubt it is anything serious. Just need to send her to someone trustworthy.....

On the way home today my trans suddenly started to get hot. Never goes over 185 even towing and it was 180 in the city, and climbed to 210 before I could stop. Strange part is the cooler was COOL to the touch as were the lines. I thought maybe it is just low on fuild (no leaks that I can see)...

My father-in-law has asked me to find a Turbo for him to get my brother-in-law for Christmas. He has a 98.5 24v with mild injectors and exhaust. He was talking about buying either a Schwitzer (sp) or an Industrial Injections turbo. I know NOTHING about Cummins turbos. This is not a race truck...
