You got that right about the moab rocks being addicting. I am hoping that my wife will get to attend the same conference next summer. I also want to plan a trip where I can tow my TJ out there but I first need to get it rock ready.

I want to thank all of you who helped out with trails and suggestions and to scrogg for meeting me for the ride at AF Canyon. He coached me while navigating the obstacles on both trails (Mary Ellen Gulch and Forest Lake). Since I am only familiar with flat muddy terrain I probably wouldn't of...

I arrived Monday at 12:00 and so far what I have seen up to now is amazing. This is a beautiful state. I have not done any wheeling except for driving to Park City via Big Cotton Wood. I plan on hitting AF Canyon tomorrow and try some of the trails there.

Well I am not too experienced with rocks since here in South Florida all we have is water and mud. I have done steep climbs with my TJ in a place called Hard Rock in Ocala, FL. I will be on a Stock rental 4wd 4door JK, I will have to limit to what I can do with it without breaking it :). It is...

Yeah I figured that since it's the desert but unfortunately I have no other option. Do the rental Jeeps in Moab have AC? I am used to mid to upper 90's and 80 to 90 % humidity which we have in FL. You break sweat even at midnight

I have been told. The Jeeper that lived in SLC and is now here in FL (Joseph he has a Diesel 2006 Liberty) told me that I must go to Moab at least one day minimum because it will be a shame to be so close and not go there. I am just hoping the trails are not too difficult to follow (well marked)
