Okay, bronco safari is over so now to get working on the truck. :)

gotten a few parts here and there for it but I still need some other stuff..

hope to pull the truck in the shop this weekend and start taking the truck apart lol
hopefully it won't be down for more then a few weeks but time and money will tell.

cinda the game plain is pull the bed off so I can clean and paint the frame and do my tank mods and goose neck hitch and just make life easier and after the rear axle swap is done then I'll move to the front.

Where in the heck did you find the gooseneck hitch? I would love to run onto one of those. Is the 06 steering box a good upgrade?

Why from our very own ricsrx lol
he wasn't sure what it was for but I took some measurements last night and some info digging, it's for a superduty.

it needs all new hardware and the safty chain Ubolts..but it's there and in good shape dispite the rust..

not unless your swapping in the newer axles also...it's a bit more beefy then the 99-04 box but there's no gain to swapping em.

I am glad its for your truck, I was afraid you would have to do a lot of fab to get it to fit! you know were to find a bumper when yours gets trashed, haha

That's my bros handy work. They have held up grate over he years lol

Good heck this truck was rusty..
Started cleaning stuff up and I got new shackles and bolts cus the old ones where pretty rusty...
One of the old shackles I had to cut off to have enough room to cut the bolt off..(rusted in the sleeve) another bolt put up a fight but got it out and glad I did cus there is some major pitting on the bolts..

Should have the rear axle mounted tonight if all goes well.. Started cleaning up frame and man I need to find a better wire wheel and face mask...it's going to be a lot of work getting the frame cleaned and sealed again...

Maybe I missed it, but are you swapping to the later model longer rear leaf springs as well?

If you are, do you already have springs? I have a set of super low mile '08(?) rear springs that I'd really, really like to see used...
