I'm going to start working on that video in the next few weeks. It was such a great trip.

Wow, I'm impressed with the what, where and how many in the different posts.

The last 10 weekends have had some kind of adventure, most involving a sleeping bag, but the common thread was that I was not at home for one or more nights. There's even more hotel/travel nights but those are for work so they don't count.

March 6-8 Goblin Valley (sleeping bag)
non-sleeping bag adventures
April 6 weekend at cabin
April 12-19 Jeep Safari (sleeping bag in cabin)
April 25 Salt Flats 100 race support (sleeping bag/all nighter)
May 2 rafting in Moab (sleeping bag)
May 9 Topaz Mountain (sleeping bag)

And non-stop every-weekend summer adventures begin next week with the Retro Ramble, followed by scout camp, high adventure camp, etc.

I think I need to wash my sleeping bag.

hyperlite mountain gear. It's the Ultamid4. not cheap, but still 1/2 the price of a RTT.

Sweet. I need a lighter tent for solo and backpacking trips. I am looking at the new REI Quarter Dome 1

cool. The new version that came out this year is almost 1 lb lighter than the previous version. I think tarptent builds a fantastic tent as well. You could also do a bivy/tarp setup.

I actually like the tart tent tents. I have been looking at the Notch and the strata spire 1. The BIG factor is price. For ~80-100 bucks less the REI QD 1 seems to match up well, tough decision.

One other thing that is frustrating about the tart tent: I like that the Notch as a partial solid wall option but the strata spire does not have this option. I like the added side wall height for dust and added overall protection.

actually, the stratospire does have that option. You can see it in the pictures.

2 nights-Jan 18 monticello utah.
3 nights - April 10-12 Moab utah.
2 nights - April 18-19 Little Ds Bday camping(he wanted the yard).
2 nights - May 17-18 Monticello, Utah
1 night - May 27 American Fork, Utah
1 night - June 2 American Fork, Utah
Total so far= 12 nights

April 18th, Moab on dirt bikes. 1 night

May 2,Cherry Creek.. and the death of my truck.. 1 night.
May 29-31, Diamond fork canyon, 2 nights.

TOTAL 6 nights.. I feel like a slacker!
