Saw it in person a few weeks back... very nice indeed. I am not a big Cruiser fan, but when they look as cool as this one does... it's like meeting a hot chick when you're on a mission. You want to take her for a ride, but it's against your religious principles.

I've got a 60 and 14b I'll trade straight across for some spider 9's that look just like the ones one this cruiser. Anyone? Didn't think so.

I know what ya mean... Cruisers were never my bag either, but once you de-Cruiser 'em enough, they can be pretty bitchin', wouldn't you say Kurt? :p

Sick sick sick. It's great to see a cruiser build.
Did you go with the regular hi 9's or the MEGA HI 9's?
Also what will we see for drivtrain(Engine, Trans, T-case).

 That thing is sweet! Whats the story on the Scout in the background?

That Scout was a frame-off, long-term build for a customer, and will actually be wrapped up in a few days from now.

Here's a quick run down:

GM performance Ram Jet 350
Turbo 400 trans.
Atlas tcase
3-link front w/ coilovers
4-link rear with coilovers
bumpers, sliders, rollcage w/ frame tie-ins
PRP seats and rear bench
custom dash and center console
and tons of other stuff, but you get the idea...

Oh, and the bulk of the body and paint work was done by Jack Kesler Customs, a supporting member of RME. ;)

My hope to have people gain (or copy) ideas from our builds. Sharing information is what RME is about...

Those battery trays are typically $65 each fully assembled, but I could shave off another $5 for the RME guys.

Can this thread please stay on task. When Von's ready for a Scout thread (is there every really enough interest in Scouts for that :p), this one is about FJ40's. :greg:

Whats the plan from here? Paint or is the customer handling that?
