Von, in this pic why not connect all the nodes?

Thats an excellent question, and you get a gold star :D...

Although it would be "technically" the utmost in strength to connect all of the nodes, we thought it looked better cosmetically than 8 tubular "lines" intersecting in one location.

Either way, its a very stout cage (given the dimesions/space allowed), especially with the type/size of material used and all of the frame "tie-ins".

Totally awesome. I can't wait to come see it when I pick up my parts. Are they in yet?

I've been getting sketchy details from Fox about those replacement parts. Apparently, I'll need to keep on 'em until they can come up with a tracking number. -_-

I'll let you know as soon as they've shipped!

We picked up the tub from the lining place during lunch today, so here are a couple more pics...

I got to see it this morning and the pics don't do it justice. Going to be a sweeeeet rig. Lots of nice rigs in the shop.

hey, question on the fender tube-- why isn't the back of it (towards teh firewall I mean) tied to the shock hoop too? Seems like it would offer a bunch more crushproofing for the fender that way??

Looks freakin' great though.
