Now for my big accomplishment of the day yesterday. The Jeep now sits on full weight with the arms installed and adjusted. I will have to adjust the rear pinion angle when the transfercase gets put back in (but the pinion is within 1-2 degrees of where it should be) and the drive shaft shows up. I have a 98 3/8" wheelbase. That's .025" less than Ultra 4 allows. Once I get the measurements of the shocks that I am using I will be able to cycle the suspension and set up these specially made 2" Travel (Per Ultra 4 rules) TeraFlex Speed Bumps..

Thanks,

All is well they had a breakdown at mile marker 16, the detoured to our pit number 2. We rewelded the axle sent them back on course towards pit 1.

Steve J. and Eric R. got them fueled up in pit 1 @ MM35 and they are headed out towards our pit again at mm53. Jeep is running strong per last radio update.

Broken suspension at mm53, lots of banging, bending and she is back in business and running. We will see them back through pit 2 at race mile 68. Update then...

Sounds like a lot of fun and work. Good luck with the rest of the race.

Kurt- Have you converted to Diet Dew yet?

Yes for coolant and battery water, it serves no other purpose!

Cody, Canadan and I are rocking the pit, Bryson and Kurt Hilldabrand hiked up the trail to spot them in for us.

Scoutabout and Eric R. have moved their pit from #1 to #3 at Backdoor to spot Nate and John down the rocks. Will report more. Guessing they are at roughly mm62.

Lost a wheel at mile marker 69 literally rolled 100 feet away from the car. john and nate are fixing now, we are still in the race. Last car running, a race breaks out for last place!

What an accomplishment! I can't believe you finished this rig up so quickly. Way to go. Can't wait for the pics/videos.
