Finally got it out today to play with it for a little bit. I love it. The torque is awesome. I crawled up a lot of stuff in 4 high that it struggled with in 4 low and the 4.2. In 4 low, it crawls great.

Picked up another item for the Range Rover today. It’s old and I don’t want to be stranded somewhere if something breaks. Lol.

A new trailer. I need to add an extra safety chain and hook the trailer brake wire up. But it’s low and my Range Rover fits. (Barely). Only cost me $700.

I'm not totally sure yet. I haven't been on Golden Spike in a long time. I love Fins and Things, Hells Revenge and Poison Spider. So we might hit those as well, I haven't been in 2 years, so I'd love to hit some things that are easier before I kill myself off.

I don't have any lockers yet, so I'm relying on the flexy suspension to get me through a lot of it.

I decided it was a good idea to take it on a shake down run. I drove it like I stole it. Well not that hard. But harder than normal.

I went up Skyline from Bountiful and down through Farmington. I left my truck and trailer at the B and took the rover on the loop.

The only issue I had was dropping the rear shaft. The pinion bolts fell out because I didn’t use lock nuts. Luckily I had just enough tools and my old stock bolts in my tool bag to stick it all back together. 20 minutes later I was back on my way.

Some pictures. My wife went with me. We had a good time.

We tested the truck and trailer combo. It works very well. I just need to rewire the trailer brakes tomorrow.
