will your gauges not allow you to just use the signal off the PCM?

Steve, getting the motor trans and tcase in is the easy part...its all the other stuff that takes forever. I just did basically this same swap (5.3) into my TJ.

well all the oem gauges get there signal from the pcm via CAN BUS data, when i fire it up in the garage i will be able to monitor everything with my hptuners scanner software using obd2 port but out on the trail id rather just have mech. gauges. if that makes any sense lol

Looks good. If you haven't figured it out yet, the second return on the PS reservoir should be for the return line on the hydroboost that was on the original truck. If you don't run hydroboost, you could use it for a second tank or whatever. Or just cap it.

Oh and you should really put the temp sender in the head. Pass side towards the rear of the head is a good port. That is the most accurate spot. There are adapters that make it easy to convert it from the large metric hole to the more normal 1/8 pipe or what ever you have. One time I had to solder two adapters together to make an adapter for a stock Yota sender. That was a pain, but worth the effort.

id like to use that port for a second tank but the only place i could mount it is higher then the pump, think it would blow p/s fluid from the pumps cap?

and i have seen that port on the pass. head, i havent really decided on my final location yet lol

That should be a vented cap, but I can't remember. If it is vented, you will loose fluid out of it. If not, you should be okay to mount another one higher. Just don't open the cap on the lower one or you'll get a huge mess. Best way to get more capacity is to use a cooler, or a second cooler. You can't run that stuff to cold. Well you can, but you won't. I'd do that before going with a second reservoir.
